Chief Walking Bear – CHA HTA NA YIMMI HOPOYUKSA, Mato Mani Itaŋcaŋ, Chief Walking Bear is a native of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, a Choctaw Nation Sundance Chief, and a Star Altar Carrier of Turtle Island. Grandfather took part in the original Inipi (sweat lodges) – original “Ceremonies of the Stars” revealing the names of the 11:11 Star Laws, Maka Wiċahpi Wiċohaŋ. Grandfather carries the ancient ways of the mound builders. He is honored to carry the name of the sacred chief Walking Bear from the Big Dipper to tell people, “The ancient grandfathers are here and are ready for you.” Grandfather is also a Spiritual Interpreter and a Healer . . . with Sacred Laughter.
